Join the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center Foundation and Skinny Skis at the Center for the Arts on Thursday, December 5th for the 25th Annual Avalanche Awareness Night!
Featuring a panel of first-person avalanche accounts, a keynote presentation by Jamie Weeks, and a stacked raffle – Avy night is your chance to celebrate our community’s incredible backcountry culture, refresh your decision-making skills, & maybe even win some great new schwag.
5:00pm – Doors open, cocktail hour, cash bar
6:00pm – Welcome and introduction from BTACF
6:10pm – Partner updates: AMPL, TBCA, Backcountry Zero
6:25pm – Storytelling Panel: Don Sharaf, Zach Miller, Emily Bodner
7:00pm – WYDOT presentation – safety on Teton Pass
7:15pm – GTNP presentation – seasonal closures
7:20pm – Observer of the Year, utilizing the forecast
7:40pm – Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center update
7:50pm – Year in Review
8:00pm – State of the Snowpack
